1. Indian Navy to commission first ASW-SWC built by CSL

The Indian Navy will commission the first of the Mahe-class Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW-SWC) at the Naval Dockyard, Mumbai, on 24 November.
Built by Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), Kochi, Mahe represents a major milestone in India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative in naval ship design and construction. With a blend of firepower, stealth, and agility, the ship is designed for submarine-hunting, coastal patrols, and securing India’s critical maritime approaches.
2. India to participate in Dubai Air Show

Raksha Rajya Mantri (RRM) Shri Sanjay Seth will lead the Indian delegation to the Dubai Air Show 2025, scheduled from 17–21 November in the UAE. The delegation includes senior officials from the Department of Defence, Defence Production, the Ministry of External Affairs, and the Armed Forces.
Shri Sanjay Seth will inaugurate the India Pavilion, which will feature stalls from HAL, DRDO, Corel Technologies, Dantal Hydraulics, Image Synergy Ekxplor, and SFO Technologies. Nineteen Indian industries — including Bharat Forge, BrahMos, Tech Mahindra, and HBL Engineering — will also showcase their capabilities independently, along with 15 Indian start-ups.
3. IAF contingent lands in Dubai for Air Show

An IAF contingent comprising the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team and Tejas fighters has arrived at Al Maktoum Airbase, Dubai, for the Dubai Air Show. The global event, featuring participation from over 100 Air Forces, aims to enhance interoperability, strengthen operational edge, and deepen military and business cooperation. The event will be held from 17–21 November 2025.
4. India–UK to conduct Exercise Ajeya Warrior

The 8th edition of the biennial Indo-UK Joint Military Exercise will be held from 17–30 November 2025 at the Mahajan Field Firing Ranges, Rajasthan. Focused on strengthening interoperability and operational synergy in Counter-Terrorism operations under a UN mandate, the exercise highlights the shared commitment of India and the UK to global peace, security, and deeper defence cooperation.
5. Colombia orders 17 Gripen-E fighters

Saab has signed a contract with the Colombian Government and received an order for 17 Gripen E/F fighter aircraft. Valued at EUR 3.1 billion, the deliveries will take place from 2026–2032. The new jets will replace Colombia’s ageing Israeli Kfir fighters, in service since the 1980s.
6. Gripen-E and KC-390 complete refuelling certification flights

Embraer and Saab, in cooperation with the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), have completed the certification flight test campaign for in-flight refuelling of the Gripen E fighter by the KC-390 Millennium multi-mission aircraft.
The tests, conducted at Embraer’s facilities in Gavião Peixoto, São Paulo, were coordinated by the FAB’s Department of Aerospace Science and Technology (DCTA) and involved engineers and test pilots from Saab, Embraer, and the FAB. Multiple flight configurations, speeds, and altitudes were evaluated, confirming precision during refuelling.
The Embraer KC-390 Millennium is currently a contender for the Indian Air Force’s Medium Transport Aircraft (MTA) programme in partnership with Mahindra Defence
