1. Raksha Mantri holds bilateral meeting with Hellenic Defence Minister

Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of National Defence of the Hellenic Republic, Mr Nikolaos-Georgios Dendias, in New Delhi on 9 February. Both Ministers reiterated that the India–Greece Strategic Partnership is rooted in shared values of peace, stability, freedom and mutual respect.
The two sides agreed to expand the capacity of their respective indigenous defence industries through a partnership between India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative and Hellenic defence reforms under Agenda 2030. A Joint Declaration of Intent on strengthening defence industrial cooperation was signed, marking the beginning of work on a five-year roadmap.
2. Raksha Rajya Mantri meets Assistant Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia

Raksha Rajya Mantri Sanjay Seth met the Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr Khaled bin Hussein Al-Biyari, on the sidelines of the World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh. Discussions focused on further strengthening the India–Saudi Arabia strategic partnership, enhancing defence cooperation, expanding inter-service engagement, and deepening collaboration across the defence and security sectors. Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to exploring new avenues of bilateral cooperation.
3. MKU announces joint venture with Sondos Advanced Industry

MKU Limited announced the formation of Tuwaiq Armour Industrial Corporation, a strategic joint venture with Sondos Advanced Industry. The JV was inaugurated by Raksha Rajya Mantri Sanjay Seth at the ongoing World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh. The initiative marks a significant milestone in MKU’s long-standing engagement with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reinforces its commitment to local defence manufacturing and long-term capability development.
The joint venture aligns closely with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives to strengthen domestic defence manufacturing, retain critical technologies within the Kingdom, and build a resilient national defence industrial base.
4. Greece Defence Minister visits Bengaluru Military Station

The Defence Minister of Greece, Mr Nikolaos Dendias, visited Bengaluru Military Station on 8 February. During the visit, he observed the Indian Army’s operational and technical capabilities at the 515 Army Base Workshop, including indigenous drone and simulator technologies, along with equipment displays by elite Special Forces and Combat Engineers. The visiting dignitary commended the professionalism, innovation and preparedness of the Indian Army, highlighting its continued focus on transformation and self-reliance.
5. Lockheed Martin unveils Lamprey MMAUV

Lockheed Martin has unveiled the Lamprey Multi-Mission Autonomous Undersea Vehicle (MMAUV). The Lamprey MMAUV can arrive in theatre with a fully charged battery. Inspired by nature, it can hitch a ride on a host surface vessel or submarine, use hydrogenators to recharge its batteries, and deploy ready for operational missions.
The Lamprey MMAUV is designed to perform a wide range of missions, including delivering undersea and air kinetic and non-kinetic effects; conducting intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and targeting; carrying out multi-intelligence collection; and deploying equipment to the seafloor.
