1. INS Udaygiri, INS Shakti and INS Kavaratti conclude port call in Singapore

Eastern Naval Command Fleet ships, INS Udaygiri, INS Shakti, & INS Kavaratti, departed from Singapore on July 5 as part of the Indian Navy’s Operational Deployment to the South East Asia region. Professional engagements with the Republic of Singapore Navy included cross-deck visits to strengthen interoperability and maritime cooperation. The ships arrived on July 2.
2. INS Sudarshini represents India at Sail250 and the US International Naval Review

The Indian Navy’s Sail Training Ship INS Sudarshini sailed into New York Harbour, proudly flying the Tricolour during the Parade of Sail, representing India at the Sail250 and US International Naval Review. Having completed engagements at Norfolk and Baltimore, the presence of India's iconic three-masted barque in the USA, on the 4th of July, showcases growing India – US naval partnership, maritime goodwill and friendship.
3. Indian Navy unveils the crest of INS Mahendragiri

The Indian Navy has unveiled the crest of INS Mahendragiri, the sixth P17A stealth frigate built by Mazagon Dock Ltd. Adorned with the crest poised atop Mahendragiri, the crest symbolises courage, agility & precision. The ship is set to be commissioned by the Indian Navy on July 11.
4. Adani Defence and Aerospace lays the ground for missile ecosystem in Shivpuri

Adani Defence and Aerospace laid the foundation stone for South Asia's largest private-sector missile ecosystem on July 5 at Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh. It marks a major expansion of the conglomerate's defence manufacturing ambitions under the Centre's Aatmanirbhar Bharat programme. The foundation stone for the facility was laid in the presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, state Energy Minister Pradyumna Singh Tomar and senior government officials.
5. Turkiye eyeing F110 engine as Trump to visit for NATO Summit

US President Donald Trump's visit to Ankara for the NATO summit could help secure Turkey's acquisition of dozens of fighter jet engines. The F110 engine is currently powering the prototypes of fifth generation KAAN fighter, and it looks to power more of them. Along with this, it will be eyeing its readmission to the F-35 programme. Turkiye was excluded from the F-35 programme on July 31, 2019. Trump offered F414 engines last month.
