1. SSS Defence participates in Milipol-2025 Paris

SSS Defence is participating in Milipol-2025 Paris for the first time, becoming the first Indian OEM to take part in a foreign exhibition. The company is showcasing its firearms portfolio—from pistols to sniper rifles. Milipol-2025 is a leading global event on homeland security and safety, organised by the French Interior Ministry from 18–21 November.
2. India–Germany enhance defence cooperation

Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh co-chaired the 12th India–Germany High Defence Committee (HDC) meeting in New Delhi with German Defence Ministry State Secretary Mr Jens Plötner. The two sides reviewed ongoing defence initiatives, identified priority areas for co-development and co-production, and reaffirmed their commitment to deepen military-to-military cooperation through joint exercises, training, and strategic exchanges, according to the Ministry of Defence on X.
3. India–Australia strengthen defence ties

As part of efforts to strengthen defence ties, HQ IDS hosted the Australian Command & Staff College Capability Management Course delegation led by Lt Col Mathew Clissold. During their week-long visit, the 11-member team will engage with Service Institutions, defence PSUs, and private defence industries. SSO HQ IDS briefed the delegation on India’s strategic perspectives, fostering deeper bilateral understanding, according to HQ IDS on X.
4. India–Russia expand maritime and technical cooperation

Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh met Mr Nikolai Patrushev, Chairman of the Maritime Board of the Russian Federation and Aide to the President, in New Delhi. They discussed a broad range of maritime and technical cooperation issues and reaffirmed the Special & Privileged Strategic Partnership between India and Russia, the Ministry of Defence said on X.
5. Sagar Defence wins Robotics Innovation Challenge

Sagar Defence has won the “Accelerating the Autonomous Robotics Revolution” challenge under the VISTA Track at the Dubai Airshow 2025, securing a USD 5,000 prize. The company pitched “Genesis”, a “boat-in-a-box” AI-powered, platform-agnostic module that can be retrofitted onto existing vessels to make them semi-autonomous, fully autonomous, or remotely operable. Sanyukta Singh said the team presented a three-minute pitch to the grand jury and was recognised for the concept.
6. Turkiye tests Kizilelma drone with GÖKDOĞAN missile

The fifth prototype of the Bayraktar Kizilelma drone conducted a test flight carrying the MURAD-100A AESA radar, TOYGUN EOTS, and the GÖKDOĞAN missile. The trial evaluated the performance of the MURAD and TOYGUN systems and the missile’s data link. The MURAD-100A AESA radar offers a detection range of 300 km and a target lock range of 222 km. The ASELSAN TOYGUN EOTS features a laser designator with an operational range of up to 35 km. GÖKDOĞAN is a highly manoeuvrable beyond-visual-range air-to-air missile with a 65+ km range and an active radar seeker.
