1. 7th Indo-Pacific Regional Dialogue 2025 begins in New Delhi.

The Indian Navy will host the 7th edition of the Indo-Pacific Regional Dialogue (IPRD) 2025, its annual apex-level international conference on maritime strategy, diplomacy, and cooperation, from October 28 to 30 in New Delhi. The event is being organised in partnership with the National Maritime Foundation.
2. HAL-UAC sign MoU for SJ-100 aircraft

HAL and Public Joint Stock Company United Aircraft Corporation (PJSC-UAC), Russia, signed an MoU for the production of civil commuter aircraft SJ-100 in Moscow, Russia, on October 27, 2025. Shri Prabhat Ranjan, HAL & Mr. Oleg Bogomolov, PJSC UAC, Russia, signed the MoU revealed a post on X by HAL.
3. Indian Navy’s survey vessel Ikshak to be commissioned on November 6

The indigenously built survey vessel of the Indian Navy, Ikshak, will be commissioned on November 6. The commissioning will take place at the naval base in Kochi. Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, Chief of Naval Staff, will preside over the ceremony.
4. Be ready for a war-like situation with our own arms: RM

Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh has said that we need to be ready for a war-like situation while speaking to industry leaders at the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers event in New Delhi. Our preparedness must be based on our own foundation, he said.
5. IAI sole bidder for IAF’s tanker bid

The Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI) could bag the Rs 8,000 crore contract for tankers for the IAF. IAI emerged as the resultant single vendor as it had agreed to offer 30 per cent indigenous content. IAF released the RFI in 2021 for pre-owned second-hand aircraft that would be modified into tankers.
6. UAE Army chief visits India

Major General Yousef Maayouf Saeed Al Hallami, Commander of the UAE Land Forces, arrived in India on October 27 for a state visit. Major General Al Hallami met with General Upendra Dwivedi, COAS.
7. Turkiye signs deal for 20 Eurofighter Typhoons

Turkiye has signed $10.67 billion deal to procure 20 Eurofighter Typhoons. The deal was signed during the visit of the British Prime Minister Kier Starmer to Ankara on October 27. Turkiye is looking for 24 more Eurofighter Typhoons, which are likely to be procured from Qatar and Oman.
