1. Indian Navy and Vietnam Navy Staff Talks conclude

The 7th edition of the Indian Navy–Vietnam People’s Navy Staff Talks concluded successfully on May 25 at Hai Phong, Vietnam. Co-chaired by Rear Admiral Srinivas Maddula, ACNS (FCI), and Rear Admiral Nguyen Thien Quan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Vietnam People’s Navy, the talks focused on strengthening bilateral engagements, enhancing maritime cooperation, and pursuing collaborative maritime security initiatives in the Indian Ocean Region.
2. Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence visits LRDE

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence (SCoD) visited the Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), Bengaluru, as part of its study tour. The exhibition was inaugurated by SCoD Chairman Radha Mohan Singh, during which live demonstrations of various technologies and systems were showcased.
3. Zen Technologies emerges L1 bidder for RCWS for ARV

Zen Technologies Limited has emerged as the L1 bidder for an ₹85.21 crore contract under the RCWS (Remote Control Weapon System) programme for Armoured Recovery Vehicles (ARV) of Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited.
4. Defence Secretary meets the High Commissioner of New Zealand to India

Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh met New Zealand High Commissioner to India Patrick John Rata on May 26. Both sides discussed avenues to further strengthen bilateral defence cooperation and deepen the strategic partnership between India and New Zealand.
5. ICG seizes 115 kg of cocaine off the coast of Mundra

The Indian Coast Guard, in coordination with the Gujarat ATS (Anti-Terrorist Squad), seized approximately 115 kg of cocaine worth ₹1,150 crore during a joint operation off the Mundra coast on the night of May 25–26. Acting on specific intelligence inputs, an ICG interceptor boat recovered five bags of contraband allegedly jettisoned from MV Europe under low-visibility conditions. The vessel remains under investigation by the ICG, ATS, and other allied agencies.
