1. BEL and Safran sign JVCA for HAMMER

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Safran Electronics & Defence (SED), France, have signed a Joint Venture Cooperation Agreement (JVCA) for the production of the Highly Agile Modular Munition Extended Range (HAMMER) smart precision-guided air-to-ground weapon in India. The JVCA was signed by BEL CMD Shri Manoj Jain and SED Executive Vice President Mr Alexandre Ziegler, in the presence of Secretary (Defence Production) Shri Sanjeev Kumar and Safran CEO Mr Olivier Andries in New Delhi on November 24, 2025.
2. India and Oman co-chair the 13th JMCC

Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh co-chaired the 13th Joint Military Cooperation Committee (JMCC) meeting with Secretary General, Ministry of Defence, Oman, Dr Mohammed Bin Naseer Bin Ali Al Zaabi in New Delhi on November 24. Both sides reviewed the robust defence cooperation between India and Oman and discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral engagements. They also shared perspectives on regional and international security developments, particularly in the Indian Ocean Region, the Ministry of Defence said in a post on X.
3. India and Oman boost defence ties with logistics, shipbuilding, and training cooperation

Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan held an extensive interaction with Dr Mohammed Bin Nasser Bin Ali Al-Zaabi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence, Sultanate of Oman, on November 24. The discussions reaffirmed their commitment to deepen defence cooperation through progress on the Military Logistics Complex, collaboration in shipbuilding and MRO, enhanced training initiatives, and new avenues for defence exports.
4. Philippines and India reaffirm defence cooperation with focus on technology and industry

A delegation led by Mr Rene S. Diaz, Undersecretary for Defence Technology Research & Industry Development, Philippines, held discussions with officials from the Department of Defence Production, led by Joint Secretary (DIP) Shri Amit Satija, on November 24 in New Delhi. Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing bilateral defence cooperation with a focus on technology, industry, and future capability development.
5. Belgium's First Airbus H145M completes test flight

The first H145M helicopter for Belgium has completed its maiden test flight. It is the first of 15 multi-role H145Ms ordered for the Belgian Defence, along with two for the Federal Police, in 2024. The first delivery is scheduled for next year, according to Airbus Defence.
6. Denmark orders 44 additional CV90 IFVs from BAE Systems

BAE Systems has been awarded a contract by the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) to deliver 44 additional CV90 MkIIIC infantry fighting vehicles, valued at approximately $450 million, including spares, support, logistics, and training.
This follows a previous contract in 2024 for 115 CV90s, bringing the total to 159 for the Royal Danish Army. The order replaces the planned mid-life extension programme for the existing CV9035DK fleet and reflects Denmark’s commitment to modernising its military capabilities.
