1. India-Indonesia to begin Ex GARUDA SHAKTI-2025 from December 3

The 10th edition of the India–Indonesia Joint Special Forces Exercise GARUDA SHAKTI will be held at the Special Forces Training School, Bakloh, from 3 to 12 December, according to a post on X by the Indian Army.
The exercise aims to enhance interoperability and mutual understanding through Special Forces-specific operations, including counter-terrorism drills, heliborne missions, combat shooting, drone and C-UAS employment, and surgical strike planning in semi-mountainous terrain, further strengthening the defence partnership between both nations.
2. Ex EKUVERIN from December 2

The 14th edition of the annual bilateral Exercise EKUVERIN between the Indian Army and the Maldives National Defence Force will be held from 2 to 15 December in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The exercise focuses on improving interoperability for counterinsurgency and counterterrorism operations in semi-urban, jungle, and coastal terrain, the Indian Army said on X.
3. MDL delivers INS Taragiri to Indian Navy

Taragiri (Yard 12653), the fourth ship of the Nilgiri Class (Project 17A) and the third built by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilding Ltd (MDL), was delivered to the Indian Navy on 28 November in Mumbai. Project 17A frigates are versatile multi-mission platforms designed to meet current and future maritime challenges.
The new Taragiri revives the name of the erstwhile INS Taragiri, a Leander-class frigate that served from May 1980 to June 2013. The ship is emblematic of India's advancements in naval design, stealth, automation, survivability, and firepower.
Designed by the Warship Design Bureau and overseen by the Warship Overseeing Team (Mumbai), the P17A class marks a generational leap in indigenous shipbuilding capability.
4. UK and Indian Army conclude Exercise AJEYA WARRIOR

The UK and India concluded the eighth edition of the biennial Exercise Ajeya Warrior on 30 November.
A (AMBOOR) Company, 2nd Battalion Royal Gurkha Rifles, and the Indian Army’s 21st Sikh Regiment conducted complex training at the Mahajan Field Firing Ranges in Rajasthan since the exercise began on 17 November.
Both armies shared SOPs and tactics across Counter-IED, small UAS operations, company-level drills, urban warfare, and support weapon employment.
5. Kizilelma drone destroys aerial target

The Kizilelma drone has successfully destroyed an aerial target off the coast of Sinop, firing a domestically developed GÖKDOGAN air-to-air missile by TÜBİTAK SAGE. With a range of over 65 km, the missile scored a direct hit, making Kizilelma the first aircraft to achieve this feat. The test flight was conducted alongside five F-16s from the 5th Main Jet Base in Merzifon.
6. German Panzergrenadier Battalion 122 to receive HK G95 rifle

Germany’s Panzergrenadier Battalion 122 will become the first unit to receive the new HK G95 assault rifle, replacing the G36 currently in service.
The battalion will be issued around 300 rifles, with a symbolic handover scheduled for 4 December 2025 at the Grafenwöhr training area. The weapon “sets new standards in precision, reliability, and modularity,” said Lieutenant General Heico Hübner, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army, according to Soldat Technik.
