1. General Upendra Dwivedi, COAS, visits HAL; flies sortie in LCH Prachand

General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), visited Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) on April 8 and undertook a sortie in the Prachand Light Combat Helicopter, experiencing first-hand its performance, agility, and mission readiness.
The COAS also visited the LCH, RUAV (Rotary Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), and ALH flight hangars, gaining insights into ongoing operations and capabilities. He held discussions with HAL leadership, led by Dr D. K. Sunil, Chairman and Managing Director, along with Ravi K, Director (Operations), and senior officials, and was briefed on key programmes.
2. GE Aerospace delegation visits HAL Bengaluru

A high-level delegation from GE Aerospace, led by Rita Flaherty, Vice President (Sales & Business Development), visited HAL in Bengaluru on April 8. The team met Dr D. K. Sunil, CMD, HAL, Ravi K, Director (Operations), and senior leadership to review progress on the GE F404 engines and ongoing discussions on the GE F414 programme.
3. Air Chief Marshal A P Singh visits Peterson Space Force Base

Air Chief Marshal A. P. Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, currently on an official visit to the United States, visited Peterson Space Force Base on April 8. He interacted with General Gregory M. Guillot, Commander of USNORTHCOM/NORAD, in a productive exchange on complex operational modalities, reflecting the strength of the growing partnership.
4. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri meets US Under Secretary of War for Policy

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri met Under Secretary of War for Policy Elbridge Colby at the Pentagon on April 8. Discussions covered ongoing developments in the Indo-Pacific and West Asia, following their earlier meeting in New Delhi on March 24 on the sidelines of the India–US Defence Policy Group meeting.
5. Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh to visit Germany

Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh is set to visit Germany later this month for high-level engagements, including discussions on industrial collaboration and a proposed defence investor summit, according to a report by The Economic Times.
He is expected to hold talks with his German counterpart Boris Pistorius and senior leadership. An India–Germany defence investor summit is planned in Munich to engage leading German defence industry stakeholders and explore avenues for collaboration, investment, and strategic partnerships.
6. South Korea rolls out first indigenous MUAV

South Korea has rolled out its first domestically produced Medium-Altitude Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (MUAV). Designed for extended operations at medium altitudes, the platform will share real-time imagery across the military, enhancing battlefield awareness.
It is expected to improve the speed and accuracy of joint and combined operations by enabling rapid dissemination of target information.
