1. RM Rajnath Singh arrives in Germany for a 3-day visit

Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh arrived in Berlin on April 21 for a three-day official visit to Germany. He was flown aboard a Special German Air Force aircraft, escorted by fighter jets from Munich to Berlin, and accorded military honours upon arrival. Notably, the aircraft used was an Airbus A400M, one of the leading contenders for the Indian Air Force's Medium Transport Aircraft (MTA) programme.
2. Photo exhibition on India’s role in the Korean War held in New Delhi

“Guardians of Neutrality: India’s Korean Mission,” a photo exhibition themed “India’s Balancing Act: Neutrality, Diplomacy and Humanitarian Aid in the Korean War,” was held at the India International Centre on April 21. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Mr Cho Hyun, Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh, Vice Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, and DGAFMS Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, along with other dignitaries, attended the event curated by Colonel (Dr) DPK Pillay. Escape Velocity MediaWorks and Chakra News presented a documentary on the Korean War (1950–53), highlighting India’s humanitarian legacy.
3. MoD signs ₹975 crore contract for TRAWL systems for T-90 and T-72 tanks

The Ministry of Defence signed contracts worth ₹975 crore with Bharat Earth Movers Limited and Electro Pneumatics and Hydraulics (India) Pvt Ltd for the procurement of TRAWL assemblies for T-72 and T-90 tanks, in the presence of Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh in New Delhi. Developed by DRDO, the system will enhance minefield-breaching capability and operational effectiveness, while boosting indigenous defence manufacturing under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
4. CDS General Anil Chauhan meets UK Minister for Defence Readiness and Industry

Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan called on Mr Luke Pollard, UK Minister of State for Defence Readiness and Industry, during his visit to the United Kingdom, with senior officials in attendance. Discussions focused on the evolving nature of conflict and deepening military-to-military cooperation. The CDS also held bilateral talks with Ms Seema Malhotra, Minister of State for the Indo-Pacific, to advance the India–UK partnership, Defence Industrial Roadmap, and technology and security initiatives in the Indo-Pacific.
5. COAS General Upendra Dwivedi on a visit to Hawaii

Chief of the Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi was accorded a Guard of Honour at Fort Shafter, Hawaii, during his visit to the United States Army Pacific. He held discussions with General Ronald P. Clark, Commanding General, US Army Pacific, and other senior leaders, focusing on strengthening India–US defence cooperation and advancing a shared vision for peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific. He also undertook an aerial tour of Oahu Island, gaining insights into the training ecosystem and multi-domain operational readiness.
6. US government awards Lockheed Martin contract for PAC-3 MSE integration

The U.S. government has awarded a contract to Lockheed Martin for the development, integration, and testing of the PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) with the Aegis Combat System. The contract builds on an existing framework agreement with the U.S. Department of Defense to accelerate the production and delivery of PAC-3 MSE in support of the “Arsenal of Freedom.”
