1. US Clears $45.7 Million Javelin Missile Sale to India

The US State Department has approved India’s purchase of Javelin anti-tank missile systems, including 100 FGM-148 rounds, command launch units, training equipment, and support services.
2. India to Restock Excalibur Artillery Rounds

India is set to restock Excalibur guided projectiles after Washington approved a possible $47.1 million sale. The munitions were previously used during Operation Sindoor with the M-777 howitzers.
3. HAL-UAE Firm to Produce Long-Range Precision Munitions

HAL and the UAE-based EDGE Group signed an MoU at the Dubai Airshow 2025 to jointly offer long-range PGMs to global customers.
4. Indian Army signs contract for BvS-10 ‘Sindhu’ ATVs

The Army has signed a procurement contract with L&T for BvS-10 Sindhu vehicles, which will be locally manufactured at Hazira with design support from BAE Systems. The deal includes full logistics and life-cycle support.

The Army has indigenised 55 of 57 high-altitude Special Clothing and Mountaineering Equipment (SCME) items, with the remaining two expected by 2026. The new digital-print combat coat introduced in January further boosts operational readiness.

HAL has signed a design and IPR transfer contract with Germany’s HENSOLDT to manufacture and repair Obstacle Avoidance and Degraded Visual Environment systems for helicopter platforms.
