1. Tri-Service Exercise Trishul Culminates

The Tri-Services Exercise (TSE-2025) ‘Trishul’ was conducted by the Indian Navy as the lead service jointly with the Indian Army and Indian Air Force, in early Nov 2025.

TSE-2025 was led by the Western Naval Command of the Indian Navy, along with the Southern Command of the Indian Army and the South Western Air Command of the Indian Air Force as the principal participating formations.

The exercise featured large-scale operations across the creek and desert sectors of Rajasthan and Gujarat, and in the maritime domain, including amphibious operations in the North Arabian Sea. The Indian Coast Guard, Border Security Force, and other central agencies also participated in the exercise, reinforcing inter-agency coordination and integrated operations.

2. IAF contingent reaches France for Exercise Garuda Shakti 

The  Indian Air Force contingent has landed at Mont-de-Marsan Air Base, France, to participate in the bilateral air exercise with the French Air and Space Force (FASF) from 16–27 Nov 25.

Su-30 MKI aircraft of the IAF and Rafale fighters of the FASF will engage in a simulated combat environment, showcasing the prowess and professionalism of both Air Forces.

3. Two terrorists arrested in Shopia

Two terrorists, Shabir Najar & Shabir Mir were arrested during a joint operation launched by the Police and SFs in Moominabad, Sopore. Incriminating materials, arms & ammunition recovered. The Jammu and Kashmir police have launched an investigation.

4. Punjab Police busts grenade attack module

Ludhiana Police busted an ISI-Pakistan-backed grenade attack module and arrested 10 key operatives of foreign-based handlers on November 13.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the accused were in contact with Pak-based handlers through three operatives based in Malaysia to coordinate the pickup and delivery of a hand grenade.

The handlers assigned the task to carry out a grenade attack in a populated area to create unrest in the state.

5. MoD-BDL sign contract for INVAR missiles

The Ministry of Defence has inked a contract with Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) for the procurement of INVAR Anti-tank Missiles at a total cost of Rs 2,095.70 crore, under the 'Buy (Indian)' category. The contract was signed by senior officials of the Ministry of Defence and representatives of BDL in the presence of Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh at South Block, New Delhi, on November 13.

The procurement of the INVAR Anti-tank Missiles enhances the firepower and lethality of the Tank T-90, the mainstay of Armoured Regiments of the Indian Army. The weapon system is a sophisticated laser-guided anti-tank missile with very high hit probability. 

6. Rafale-M fires ASMPA-R missile

A  Rafale-M successfully conducted an evaluation firing of the improved medium-range air-to-surface strategic missile-renovated (ASMPA-R) on November 13, without onboard payload, at the end of a flight representative of a nuclear raid, according to  French Defence Minister Catherine Vautrin.

This is the second firing of the ASMPA-R and the first carried out by the Nuclear Aeronaval Force (FANU). This firing takes place only a few days after the Operational Service Entry (OSE) of the ASMPA-R missile within the FANU. This missile has been in service in the Strategic Air Forces (SAF) since 2023.

7. US approves military sale to Taiwan

The U.S. approved the possible sale to Taiwan of fighter jet spare and repair parts for $330 million, the Pentagon said on November 13, marking the first such potential transaction since President Donald Trump took office in January.

The proposed sale will improve the recipient's capability to meet current and future threats by maintaining the operational readiness of the recipient's fleet of F-16, C-130, and other aircraft, the Pentagon said in a statement.
